Introductory Wheelwork
This class is perfect for the complete beginner or those who have taken several years off to brush up on their skills. Topics include cylinders, bowls, mugs, and finishing techniques such as trimming and glazing.

Put a Lid On It!
This intermediate /advanced level course will explore the world of lidded pottery on and off the wheel. Students will study a variety of lidded forms including jars, boxes, and teapots. We'll learn how to make lids that fit and a form that asks us to put a lid on it!

Intermediate Wheelwork
Have
a little experience working with clay? Looking to hone your throwing
skills and further explore the wonderful possibilities of pottery? Join
our intermediate wheel class and you’ll have a blast! Topics covered
include large bowls, tall vases, lidded jars, and dinner plates.
Students will also trim and glaze their work.

Crash Course Throwing
This 4 week class is ideal for any new student who wants to try wheel-throwing, but doesn't want a long term commitment. Students will focus on the basics: centering clay, throwing bowls and cylinders, and simple glazing.
$115 + $5 tool fee (no tool kit required)

Handbuilt Tableware
Students in this class will explore the possibilities of tableware using slab building, coiling, pinching, and mold making techniques. We will focus on making a dinnerware set complete with a plate, bowl, cup, and some decorative serving pieces that stir the imagination.

Sculptural Handbuilding & Raku Firing
Local artist Wyman Rice will guide students through the ins and outs of making scultpural forms to be fired in his Raku kiln. The unpredictable and hands-on nature of Raku firing make this a very exciting class! Students may also delve into horse hair firing.
