Returns/Exchanges:
All kiln and wheel sales are final! Absolutely no returns or exchanges on kilns or wheels or SPECIAL ORDER items. Any faulty equipment must be reported to the manufacturer for Warranty service. All Gift Certificate sales are final.

1.No Returns or Exchanges after 60 days, this includes clay. No returns without a receipt. All authorized returns will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Any clay found to be abnormally hard is eligible for exchange up to 30 days after purchase. PLEASE inspect your clay when you get it home.
2. All equipment must be opened and inspected upon purchase. Any faulty equipment must be reported to Mudworks within 15 days. After 15 days, customer must go directly to manufacturer for equipment issues. This applies to scales, Giffin Grips, clay guns, slab rollers, etc. Please call with specific questions. This does not apply to kilns and wheels, call us for warranty work on these items.

4. We accept cash, in-state checks with ID, Mastercard, or VISA only. $35 returned check fee.

All prices in our print catalog and on our website are subject to
change without notice and exclude shipping costs. Most products are FOB
Lexington, KY. Special orders and some equipment are FOB manufacturer.

KY customers will be charged 6% sales tax unless we have a current
resale tax exemption certificate on file (your 6-digit biz license# on
form 51A105 from http://www.kyrevenue.com/).
SIMPLY PRESENTING YOUR TAX # WILL NOT BE SUFFICIENT. WE MUST HAVE THE
ABOVE FORM PRESENTED OR FAXED TO US. NO EXCEPTIONS AT ALL, NOT EVEN FOR MY OWN MOTHER!
You only have to give it to us once though. If you do not have it, we
will charge you sales tax and then refund it when we get the proper
form.
5. Returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee unless a mistake was made by Mudworks in shipping the wrong item.

All Net 30 accounts require a credit card # on file with Mudworks. Your
card will be charged if your account goes 45 days without payment.

Mudworks makes every effort to keep all your information secure and
private. We have a current SSL certificate for our site and WILL NEVER
EVER share any of your personal information with anyone EVER. I hate
junk mail and wouldn't wish it on anyone. If you wish for us not to
keep your credit card information in our secure files, please email us
at orders@kentuckymudworks.com
and let us know you would like us to delete your info from our secure
files when your order is processed. We respect your privacy.
Shipping Costs:
Mudworks makes every effort to save our customers money on shipping.
The shipping costs that appear at checkout are an approximation. They
are based on your full order. If any products are backordered, that
will lower shipping costs. Your exact shipping costs will be emailed to
you when your order ships along with any applicable taxes (for KY
deliveries only).
Freight Deliveries: Mudworks offers a flat rate freight charge (for up to 3000 lbs) which includes the cost of a liftgate service for deliveries in KY, IN and OH If you select the flat rate freight cost and do not qualify in your zip code, we will contact you with the proper freight quote before shipping. For freight deliveries outside KY, Mudworks offers excellent freight discounts. Please select "Outside KY freight" when checking out and we will contact you with your exact freight cost before shipping. If you would like a freight estimate before ordering, please contact us at orders@kentuckymudworks.com.
Backorders: Mudworks makes every effort to keep all the products we sell in stock. However, if any products you order are short on weight or out of stock, we would like to know your preference of backorder status. Please select your preference in the drop-down menu in the cart. If you choose to have us ship what is in stock and backorder anything out of stock, when the backorders ship, there will be additional shipping costs for those items. If you choose for us to hold your order and ship when it is complete, we will notify you of the expected ship date. At that time, you may choose to change your backorder status.
**In the event that any items are backordered, we will do our best to complete your order within 10-14 business days. After that period of time, we will notify you again of any further delays and give you an estimated ship date.
Packing Fee: All original orders sent UPS and USPS will be charged a $2.50 packing fee per order. Backorders will not be charged a $2.50 packing fee.
Pallet Fee: All orders shipped via freight line on a pallet will be charged a $6.00 pallet fee for each pallet in an order. Pallet fee will not apply to equipment orders that arrive in our warehouse on their own pallet. If you are charged a pallet fee in the cart with equipment, it will be refunded to you prior to charging your card.
Pickup Orders: You may place an order online and select "Pickup Order" in the shipping menu. If you wish to pickup your order, payment must still be processed through our website. We CANNOT pull an order without payment information.
